General Overview of Being a Vendor
at the La Plaza de Los Leones Annual Fiesta
Products sold at the La Plaza de los Leones Fiesta can be handcrafted or manufactured locally, nationally or imported. Food vendors are responsible for complying with health regulations. Items that may not be sold at the fiesta include: illegal drugs and/or paraphernalia, alcoholic beverages, tobacco related products, items with adult content and anything deemed to be objectionable in content or inappropriate for a family event.
Vendors can rent one or more vendor sites; each site is 10’ x 10’. All booth participants are responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, umbrellas, and electrical cords. Fee for participation is $65 for each 10' x 10' booth site. An additional $10 per booth will be added for those booths requiring electricity. RVs, trailers, and other such vehicles are not allowed to park in booth spaces unless participant operates out of such vehicle.
All applicants for booth participation will be considered. La Plaza de Los Leones, Inc., reserves the right to deny any application. Booth participants are responsible for complying with laws governing reporting of earnings and tax requirements. Booth participants assume responsibility and liability for any and all personal equipment and product distribution. Booth participants assume all responsibility for security of their property.
The Huerfano County Board of County Commissioners has ordered that no overnight
camping is allowed on Fiesta Park Grounds. Overnight security will be provided by La Plaza de Los Leones, Inc.
Setup time for vendors begins at 7:00AM the morning of the fiesta. Vendor sites should be setup by 10:30AM. The vendor is responsible for setting up and packing up their own site(s).
Rental of booth sites will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
All vendors will be listed on the Vendors Page of our website. For an additional $5, a link to vendor's website and/or email address along with a description of products and services will be included with listing for 12 months.
